| Man I gotta say I LOVE my pick!Thumbs up all the way… fresh and innovative… and beautiful to boot!I have been trying it in different applications, e.g. live, studio… and the results were more than impressive. I’ve used the ol’ chrome and brass picks before and they give the guitar a really bright sound. This one, being made from titanium, has a “softer” effect to it. It definitely brightens the sound a bit, but in a pleasing way. My initial recording results were better than I thought would be. I liked the new presence it gives the guitar. It’s really hard to put into words because what I’m about to say is a tactile, personal thing that musicians can relate to. These picks “feel” like plastic ones and have like 1/3 the weight of the old chrome steel ones. They don’t bite the string the the same harsh way a typical steel pick would. Playing fast runs is amazing with it, but you can surprisingly still strum intricate rhythms with ease… mine is about 1.0mm thick, I believe… I also don’t believe these titanium picks will kill your strings as much either… time will tell…. and you can bet your ass I’m putting this pick to the test… and I will be contacting you about making more for me, sir… |
